Support

Noricho is made by one person. You will get a real reply.

Email support@noricho.com — or, better for anything about a specific ride, station or line, use Report a problem from inside the app. That attaches the record you were looking at and the dataset version, which turns a guess into a fix.

Common things

A ride credited fewer segments than I rode

Usually a tunnel. Underground stretches have no GPS, so the engine reconstructs them from where you went in and where you came out. Open the ride from the Hunt tab and correct the boarding or alighting station — the rest of the ride is recalculated from your correction, and the segments in between are credited.

A ride credited nothing at all

It will be sitting under “Needs review” on the Hunt tab. Tell it where you got on and off and it will resolve. If it still credits nothing, send it in — include the line and roughly when you rode, and the ride can be looked at directly.

A line I ride is missing

Noricho covers 128 lines across Greater Tokyo. If yours is not one of them, say so — coverage grows based on what people actually ask for.

A station name, number or colour is wrong

Report it from inside the app, on the station or line screen. That attaches the exact record and dataset version to your message, which makes it fixable in one pass instead of three.

I rode a Tokyo Metro or Toei line but no train class was collected

A class is only collected when the realtime feed can match your ride to exactly one train. When two trains fit, the ride is kept as a sighting instead of guessing. Underground rides are matched after the fact, and a crowded timetable with short headways often cannot be resolved to one train at all.

No train class is ever collected on my line

Rolling stock only works on the fifteen lines with a realtime train feed — the nine Tokyo Metro lines and the six Toei ones. Everywhere else there is no feed, so there is no class and no sighting.

I want my data deleted

There is a delete-account control inside the app. It removes your account and everything attached to it immediately. If you cannot reach it, write in and it will be done for you.

What helps when you write in

Please do not send screenshots containing your home station if you would rather not share it — the ride can usually be found without it.

Reporting someone

If another rider’s handle or display name is offensive or impersonates someone, send it to support@noricho.com and it will be removed. The terms set out what is not allowed.

Not what Noricho does

Noricho cannot help with timetables, delays, fares, lost property or anything else about an actual train service — it has none of that data and no relationship with any operator. For those, contact the operator directly.
